Leadership In Action
The Rockford Chamber of Commerce sponsored Lanette Briley to participate in the Leadership In Action Class of 2009. The class is facilitated by the Celina-Mercer County Chamber of Commerce.
One day a month from September thru June, the class traveled and toured Mercer County. The class experienced private businesses, government, nonprofit agencies and health facilities.
Artwork from the 2008 Christmas Walk
Recently, the Rockford Chamber of Commerce donated artwork from the 2008 Christmas Walk to Parkway Local Schools.
The artwork is currently on display in Mrs. Patti Taylor's art room for the students to enjoy . Eventually, the pieces will be moved to the showcase in the elementary cafeteria.
