ROCKFORD AREA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION MINUTES
Rockford Village Hall
The following are some of the items that were discussed at the RADC meeting March 28, 2011.
There will be meetings on April 25th and May 23rd. There will be no regularly scheduled meetings in June, July and August. Special meetings may called if needed.
The membership drive for 2011 will be April 1st to April 30th. The membership drive for 2012 will be in October 2011.
A copy of the membership form is available.If you wish to become a member for 2011, please complete and return to the address on the form.
Committees were also discussed.
The committees for the coming year are:
Business Attraction and Retention
Finance, Marketing and Public Relations
Infrastructure and Community Developement
By-Laws, Governance and Membership.
If you would like to volunteer to serve on any of the committees, please let me know.

New Businesses
Four new community businesses were recognized at the 34th Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet on November 1, 2007. Congratulations Mercer Landmark Soybean Extrusion Plant, The Olde Rockford Hardware, Pleasant Dwellings LLC, and the Rockford Carry-out.
