8 Minute Vocation Acceleration Experience
Over 165 business professionals gathered at the first 8 Minute Vocation Acceleration Experience held at Parkway High School in April of 2007. The Rockford Chamber of Commerce partnered with the Parkway High School, RADC and creators of the program Brand It Design, to give local students a one on one opportunity to talk with professionals in vocations of their interest. Network opportunities and social time followed.

Fast Facts
A major Main Street reconstruction project was undertaken in 1999. The Main Street has new curbs, sidewalks, decorative lampposts, trees, and brick trim in the sidewalks.
A new sewer system and a new water tower was installed in 2000.
